Re: Fundy Rider's Blog

I have thought about a sidecar on a PC as I do think it is one terrific bike. I'd have to pick up another one as I'm keeping my current one as is. Later model years in good shape are getting harder to find. I was thinking of the Shadow as shaft drive and readily available at good prices, but not tie...

Re: Fundy Rider's Blog

Well, didn't have the Ural up here in town but too nice a day not to be riding. Took my PC800 and did a run around the Northumberland Strait side of NB, through Cocagne and Shediac. Stopped by Cocagne Motorcycle to visit with the folks. If you are ever riding out this way, stop in and say Hi. Here i...

Re: Fundy Rider's Blog

Thanks, actually two days riding. Middle picture was on a great ride on the Saturday, just one pic before the battery died on my BB. Other two were on a Sunday ride with more variable weather. I'm thinking this weekend is going to be another great riding weekend! I was raised in central Canada, Been...

Re: Fundy Rider's Blog

A great weekend for riding through Fundy National Park and surrounding area. This type of riding is where the Ural truly shines. If my skills allow, first photo is the lookout in the Park, second is heading down the Hastings Auto Trail, also in the park. Third is a ways out from the park. Stopped by...

Re: Fundy Rider's Blog

Thanks Mike, decisions, decisions, for now I'm just going to enjoy my Ural and figure out next steps over the winter. Going to be a nice day today for a late fall ride and I'm going to take advantage of it, The auto trails in Fundy Park will be closing soon for the winter so I'm going to give them o...

Re: Fundy Rider's Blog

Actually, my patrol has been running quite well. No real issues at all. Just judging by the forums, I'm wondering how long that will last. Getting ready to retire from full time work in a year or so and looking forward to some serious miles, probably be some 4 lane travel. If I do that with the side...

Re: Fundy Rider's Blog

I'm torn. I enjoy my Ural but could use a machine that has that Japanese reliability and dealer network. Don't want two rigs in the garage so will need to decide. Probably sleep on it over the winter and see what's available then... For now, yesterday was a beautiful fall day around here and got out...

Re: Fundy Rider's Blog

Well, I may be getting ready to change up my Ural for a different rig. Any folks have experience with a Honda Shadow VT750 as a bike, perhaps mated up with a velorex sidecar?

Re: 2nd Annual SENB Sticky Bun Run!

And then there were two! A 100 % increase in attendance this year. Thanks John from Antigonish. Nice meeting you. If this keeps up may have to organize a BBQ and ride to go along with the Sticky buns next year. Make it a sticky bun rally! Probably move it off the long weekend as too many conflicts. ...

Re: 2nd Annual SENB Sticky Bun Run!

Overcast and threatening to shower on us this morning. Won't let a few rain drops get in the way of a good sticky bun though!
