Some of you will remember Pat (AKA Survivorbike on the CURD forum) flipping his Ural on last year's adventure ride and arriving back at the rally site with one muffler in the sidecar. Well, he decided to outdo himself this year and arrive on a CAA flatbed with a blown final drive seal, apparently the result of an errant jacket sleeve getting wrapped around the driveshaft a few days earlier

The guys from Ural Canada arranged for a new seal to arrive on Saturday morning and put Pat's rig into the UC trailer so that if he dropped something it wouldn't get lost in the grass.

The job had become too involved to do in a field so Jerry offered to have the rig taken to UC on Monday morning and let Pat have the use of a workbench so that he could finish the job.
