Need Help to Identify Sidecar

Post by Sidmariner » Thu Jun 13, 2013 9:15 pm

I'd be grateful if anyone could help me by identifying the kind of sidecar I have. I found it here on Vancouver Island and am considering mating it to my BMW R100/7. I've been told it is of Chinese origin, but it might be useful to know the manufacturer's name so I can source mounting instructions or spare parts. Thanks

That's a later model Chang Jiang sidecar. It was available as a single seater or two seater and mated to their version of an Ural. You can find more info here: http://www.chang-jiang.com/bmw/motor-red.html

The tub may have come from Dauntless, as they were selling and installing them at one point. Called "Flying Tiger."
